Partners in Bolivia’s Success

Successful UNICEF-assisted results for children in Bolivia could not be achieved without crucial partnerships with different actors such as the Government of Bolivia, bilateral and multilateral cooperation agencies, UN agencies, international financial institutions, civil society organizations and the private sector. This section provides information about UNICEF Bolivia’s strategic partners, including highlights of the results achieved together and information on immediate needs and ways you can partner with UNICEF to further children’s rights and opportunities in Bolivia.

Public Partnerships

The Country Programme 2013-2017 between UNICEF and the Plurinational State of Bolivia supports the fulfillment of children’s rights and positions children at the center of national and regional policies, programmes and budgets. The Country Programme is jointly managed by the Ministry of Development Planning and UNICEF. We are also working closely with the public sector at three levels: national, departmental and municipal, having created strong partnerships that contribute to achieving our common objectives. In accordance with national regulations, the technical and financial assistance UNICEF provides to public partners is reflected in the institutional public budget and used to strengthen administrative capacities, guarantee transparent policies, and to improve the management and accountability for resources.
